Soft Sided Coolers – Caring For You Cooler

It is important that after you have purchased one of the soft sided coolers now available you take proper care of yours. If you fail to do so they can quickly become damaged and so the insulation properties can be seriously affected.

Plus by making sure that you take proper care of yours the chances of them having bacteria or mold growing inside will be reduced. So below we offer some guidelines on how to clean your Soft washing cooler to ensure that it remains in top condition as when you first purchased it.

1. You need to make sure that you remove any dirt or food particles from inside your cooler. So before you wash it out you should take a clean damp cloth or sponge and wipe around the inside of the cooler making sure that you get into every nook and cranny.

2. After wiping the cooler out should you notice any stubborn stains inside then mix some baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) with some warm water. Then very gently rub the stain with this mixture again using a clean soft cloth.

3. Now you are ready to wash your soft sided coolers out. Mix in a bowl some warm water with a mild soap solution. Take a cloth or sponge which has been soaked in the cleaning solution remembering to wring it out so it is damp. You don’t actually want to have lots of water sloshing around inside the bag.

4. Then take another bowl of clean warm water and using a fresh cloth of sponge wipe the inside of the cooler out to help get rid of any of the cleaning solution residue. Then after this leave the lid off or folded back so that air can then dry it out. Once fully dried out you can store it then for next time.
